unless u've snapped the cble then its not the handbrake that needs adjusting that just makes thing worse and costs u more money.u'r prob is one or more self adjusters have failed.Needs striped down and repaired.failure to do this means u'r rear brakes will eventually sieze.Handbrake cable is only for adjusting cbl free play not for adjusting handbrake opperation.Unless u'r good at diy and fully understand the mechanisim.suggest u go to a compatant garage.no offense.
