How can I fix my Honda HRB476C lawn mower?

Honda HRB476C eng family XHNXS.1611AA
After jamming (and removing) a piece of wood against the the cutting blade, the machine drives OK but the blade no longer spins when the clutch is dis-engaged. Do I need to replace clutch pads at the base of the engine?

what should the gap be between the flywheel and the coil

Not familiar with that mower but if it is a riding mower, shut the engine off and disconnect the spark plug wire and check to see if you can turn the blades by hand. If the blades can be turned fairly easily, check to see if the belt is possibly broken or off the pulley. It should be a little loose but not broken or worn badly. Sometimes when you hit an object the engine wants to keep turning the blade and the belt will break or get a chunk taken out of it, if so you'll have to replace the belt.
