The inner glass protects the outer glass, could end up having to replace both bits.
You can order parts from http://www.smeg-service.co.uk/shop/ however don't expect any help, advice or instructions.
An Smeg engineer will cost you just over £50 for the first 15 mins and then £35 per hour + parts labour & vat!!
