the fan motor ass is located in drivers side below wiper linkage under bonnet to test motor earth the thick black wire going to the motor at the resisstor ( big black plug to the right of the motor at the top ) if it works the resisstor is faulty renault charge about £130+vat , easy to change

Hi again, took mine in to local garage cos new the blower was fine. In my 04 clio there was a resistor unit located in close proximity to the fan (follow the large wiring loom) not built in to the motor as manual said. It is held in by 2 screws and mine cost about £85 (my part number 77 01 051 272) to replace plus the mechanics labour. Now I know what it is, it would have been so easy to do myself and save 1 hours labour, but must state the local gagare was much cheaper and more helpful than the quotes and help I got from the main dealerships. Hope this is of some use.

sounds like the blower motor is not working, firstly check fuses, and does the fan come on, on any of the fan speed settings, what year is the vehicle
