Rover 45?

we foolishly allowed the rover to run out of petrol. Since this we have filled it up but it still won't start it turns over but nothing else.

Check behind centre console.there is a fuel cut of switch there with a rubber button top. press this to reset the cut off and try again

More than likely air locked, take it along to a local garage so it can be primed, very simple job garage may not even charge you for it!!!
