Why doesn't one side cut on my LT1000 Craftsman riding lawn mower? ?

My LT1000 mower deck will cut on left side but the right side (discharge) does not cut the grass. I replaced the blades and both operate normal. Yes, the blades are on properly w/grass side down. Tire pressure is fine and to specs. The right side appears to blow the grass flat while the left side cuts fine. I've had the mulcher on and off and it does the same regardless. I make sure the blade vents on top of the deck are clear. Help me for I am perplexed.

I bought both blades this spring from local Sears Parts store. I checked receipt and both are same part number and look identical when compared side by side, etc. Both are stamped grass side down and that is how I have them installed. Blades are identical because both spin clockwise when mower is running. I mowed my lawn yesterday and the right blade is cutting better but not completley. I also had blades professionally sharpened just in case. Best example to illustrate problem is right blade appears to thin (like a beautician thins hair) instead of an even cut. I'm dumbfounded and think it is time to trade up.

And are both blades fitted IDENTICAL? If they're both spinning in the correct direction, they must both cut!

Sorry to state the obvious, but I sell Craftsman tractors new, and customers DO fit the wrong blades, then claim that it's always been that way, and 'never had this problem before'.

You need 2 standard 'right hand' blades.

Both blades spin clockwise.

Are you sure the blades are correct? Some models of deck have HANDED blades. If you fit the wrong one, it will be rotating backwards, which will cause exactly the syptoms you describe. If the blades spin in opposite directions, they are handed. If they both spin in the same direction, they are (or should be) identical.
