Hi, i have a similar problem, my CK440 main oven just stopped working one day, when i do turn it on, it trips out the consumer unit, the light comes on, i have had my cooker for 3 years now, and use on a daily basis. My smaller oven still works, any ideas to what could be wrong?

You need to give more info- such as: how old is it- how much use- Did it start smoking and burn out- did it just not work one day for no apparant reason- did it never work and you're wondering why-
it could be a blown fuse- dead cat- broken wire--broken switch- corroded connection- dirty connection.
A one-line question will most oftn get you a one-line answer.

You'll need to replace the fan element by the sounds of it.
