ds lite saying no game pak inserted but there is?

DS lite working fine today then suddenly saying no game pak inserted but there is. It also doesn't recognise if a gameboy game is inserted. It does still work for all other functions.

It sounds like there is a problem with the main pcb or the game slots but they can be repaired.
