How do you replace the cord?

My cord has went bad on my Chi straightner. I removed the Chi caps and found the screws. But, when you turn it, the other side turns too. How do I get it to unscrew? Help!

One side is a screw the other isn't.Try to unscrew the other side then I had to tap it with my screwdriver to get the other side out.I hope I haven't confused you. LOL!
