F1 on full time on "time remaining" screen. Is second hand machine and need to know whether worth fixing. Any clues on how to fix.

syphon as much water out of the bottom of the dishwasher as you can and power it up again. If the unit still beeps and shows the F1 error, give the washer a good sharp kick. This will vent some of your anger AND release the flood sensor switch.

Worked for me in about half an hour!

This happened to me and I shut the power off for about a week, when the repairman came out and turned the power back on miraculously it was fine.
