How can I get my AEG grill to stay up!?

I have a double AEG cooker. Top oven doubles as grill.
Grill is held in place by 2 screws ( which can be removed for cleaning roof of oven)
Both screws have fallen out and there doesn't seem to be anything beyond the hole to screw into. Can anyone help?

if the screw holes have rusted and become enlarged you will have to find thicker screws or strip it and use a nut and bolt but this is involved
