How can I repair light scratches on my kitchen worktop?

Paula Rosa kitchen work surface, presumed granite although unsure. Perhaps the picture might help:

http://www.howdoyouplaythat.com/kitchen.jpg

The scratches appear to be surface only and not have any depth, i.e. if I run my finger over the area I cannot notice any "grooves". They were caused by a kitchen knife.

I've had a good look around the www (including past topics on this site), and have shortlisted the items below. However, any solid advice would be sincerely appreciated.

- Acquire a colour kit from the manufacturer

- Apply wax

- Apply toothpaste

- Apply dark shoe polish

- Try www.plastic-surgeon.co.uk

Many thanks in advance,
Steve

Hi, sorry I have no answer but just another question. I have the exact same worktop and also the same type of scratches on it.
My boyfriend doesn't know about the scratches yet so i need to fix them pronto.
What did you try and did anything work?
