Aqualisa Aquastream Thermo Leaking?

Water is pouring from the base of the unit when it is switched on. Any idea what may be causing this problem?

The thermostatic cartridge seal might of perished and started leaking.

Or if there is lots of water, the housing might of cracked allowing water out (part 4)
