how to take front panel off Zenith 50 cooker?

I have Leisure Zenith 50, the timer display has stopped working making the oven disfunctional.
I would like to bypass the clock to make oven work but cant see how to get to it.

You will need to remove the 2 fixing screws from the rear of the hob, slide the hob forward to unlatch it and then lift it to one side(there is limited movement). The Control panel is secured by two screws on top & 3 underneath(which hold the drip guard in place), remove these & the panel will move forward a little. Replace in the reverse order.
