Pull out bottom front bit.

Lift front end so water doesn't flow out.

Put chinese takeaway tub under the screw thing on left.

Unscrew it slowly allowing water to drain.

Put saucepan underneath when chinese tub fills up and kitchen starts flooding.

Unscrew it completely (requires some effort).

Clean it up and put it back together.

Hiya, My machine is doin exactly the same and i found that the door seal has broken and a sock had got lodged into the filter which was stopping the machine draining properly. Just in case u dont know where the filter is it is behind the plastic cover at the bottom of the machine which is quite difficult to remove but something flat pushed along the top of it will unclip it for you. I got as much water out by hand then drained the filter gently till it was empty then as i pulled the filter cover out it broke because the sock had wrapped around it. I am on my third year of my warranty and will definately never buy from indesit again as the maintainance guys are rubbish but when they finally repaired it five times in all they have replaced 2 doorseals, 2 (now to be third) sets of bearings and the whole drum at one stage. I shall be looking for a much better machine in the future so if anyones got any suggestions then let me know please. Thanks Martin (Unhappy Indesit customer)

hi,

I had exactly the same problem, very soon after I started using the machine (new one). I called someone for maintenance, and it turned out there was a switch (if I am not mistaken) in the machine that had burned out. Strange thing is that the switch should not have been there at all, since it belonged to a different model washing machine. Seems like quality checking is not there strongest point ;-)

Anyway, it runs fine again, but don't think you could fix it on your own.
