hotpoint wm52p keeps tripping electrics?

my hotpoint first edition wm52p washing macine keeps tripping out my electric trip board, if i disconnect the wire block from the motor it is fine,do i need a new motor or is it the wiring block the problem, or is it something else i may have missed

When it trips does it trip straight away when power is applied? If so it may be a short circuit in the motor winding if the connector block it fine..
