the screen on my samsung e820 is permanently white, how do i fix it?

Hi, you will probably find that it is the ribbon cable that is at fault. You can pick them up on ebay for a couple of quid. they can be quite fiddly to fix but this should fix your problem. It is quite a common fault on the samsung slide type phones. Hopr this info helps
