how can i fix engine, ford fiesta zetec 1.25?

Have been told my engine is completly gone and need a new one or car is write off what is the cheapest way of me sorting this problem

What did u do to it?Short of running it without oil,I've never completly condemed one of these.Even a terminally snapped cam belt can be repaired with a new/s'hand head.details pls.
