well mine had the same problem and it is very hard to take apart but when i did i found that a small plastic tab had broken off and jambed it but you have to have that tab for the the valve to open so i used a popsicle stick in the middle hole you will see what i mean when you take it apart neways you have to be carful not to break the rubber water lines just pull the off and when you fixed the problem silicon the back on and there you have it now if you want a two hour job and lots of confusion try it but if you have the extra money BUY A NEW ONE WITH WARRENTY
