Hotpoint gas oven,constant clicking?

hotpoint gw74 gas cooker ignition on oven clicks constanly it is the 4th replacement , latest one is 1 week old, any ideas of what is wrong?

if there is a licon switch fitted that could be at fault it is situated behind the main oven control knob

Most of these devices work by sensing an electric current sent back through the oven flame.Get someone in to remove and thoroughly clean the oven burner and make sure the pressure is correct,also check the spark gap is set properly.
If it still misbehaves after that it`ll be the spark generator.

Sounds as if the cooker doesn't know the door is firmly closed, or perhaps the door isn't firmly closed. Either a microswitch broken or needing adjustment, or a door needing adjustment I would guess.
