how do i fix the seatbelt on the back seat?

the middle seatbelt seems to be locked how do i fix it? please can someone help. it a ford mondeo and its a T reg.

The back of the seat is not properly locked in position.
Release it and re-lock.

If you rapidly pull and release the strap going into the automatic rewind and brake housing you can probably make the release mechanism work. It is probably stucked.

the middle seat belt is a LAP BELT ONLY, the other two (one either side ) are inertia type on a reel ,the only adjustment on the lap belt is for the SIZE of the person lap via the buckle trap in a accident due to the force most people will suffer pelvis damage.
