The steering wheel has to come off to be able to change the indicator stalk. You can do this by 3 allen key bolts which hold the airbag which are located through the back of the steering wheel, once the airbag is disconnected and out you then have a 24mm or 22mm bolt which holds the steering wheel in place undo the bolt. Once the steering wheel is removed, remove the plastic cowlings around the column which the bottom piece is held in by 4 3mm allen key bolts and the top is hold by 2 3mm allen key bolts which are located in the steering wheel end, tucked up inside the cowling. Once they are removed unplug the stalk assembley then there is a 5mm allen key bolt which clamps the stalk assembley to the column this is located at the back of the stalk assembley you access it from the bottom of underneath the stalk unit. Once this is undone give the whole stalk unit a tug and it will come off. REMEMBER TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY 10MINS BEFORE YOU DO THE JOB TO STOP THE AIRBAG DEPLOYING!!!
