how can i start my van ?

i have a deisel van and it ran out of deisel i have tried bleading the fuel systerm geting a jump bump starting but it still will not start

Possible the junk in the bottom of the tank has been sucked up into the system.renew the fuel filter and blow compressed air into the fuel line that comes from the tank to clear it.repost if stil prob's.
