Are Challenge petrol mowers the same as Champion mowers?

I cant find anybody that sells spare parts for a Challenge petrol mower. Champion mowers appear similar. Are they the same?

I think that's what I said.

no there not the same they are both mowers that are nearly always exclusive to a shed outlets (champion is homebase etc) but they never have hardly any spares for them, they are avalible from the smaller mowershops give them a ring but make sure your armed with the numbers from the machine (number off the engine for engine parts, number off the body for body parts)

Depends on the year. Early Champion lawnmowers were produced for Focus DIY by Lawn-King, who also produced badged mowers for Homebase (Sovereign) as well as many other budget retailers.

It's possible that the latest range (within the last 2 years) have come out of the same Chinese factory as the current crop of Champion mowers, but whether it's a Champion or a challenge mower of the latest type you're still not going to get parts for it- unless it's engine parts you're after and it's fitted with a Briggs engine.
