fridge will not work on gas?

3 way fridge works on mains and on 12 volt but when hooked up to gas i can not get the pilot light to light ( no spark to light gas) have double checked to make sure it was level and gas supply was conected ok.

Hi Dave, I Don't know which type of fridge you have but they normally work on either pietzo (i think thats the right spelling) ignition ( you push a button in until it sparks once) or electronic from the 12 volt system.(normally a switch on the face of the fridge which makes the ignition click constantly until it lights and re- lights if it is blown out. If it's pietzo then its probably the crystal (replace the ignition unit) if electronic then
find the 12v fuse and check that. The terminals inside the switches do have a habit of sticking so a bit of vigorus switching on and off normally works. If you have power coming into the switch and no clicking noise of the ingiter then it's probably the switch. Hope this helps
