Betty it sounds like the outlet is blocked ! You don't say whether it is a Tumble dryer or Condenser ? If tumble dryer check your hose that ducts out the air or the input filter where the air is drawn in for any blockages. If a Condenser you need to check the condenser element for any blockage. Other than that is the fan working ? If it isn't then the air will not be circulating and the clothes remain wet !
