how to fix my samsung fridge freezer?

the model numberis rs21wcsv and the fan in the main fridge compartment was making a very loud noise then just stopped working. the temparture gauge now reads 12 degrees and cant be used for storing any food.

robert ice buildup in fridge holding fan motor from turning, defrost the fridge for 48 hours by turning off which should clear all the buildup, if the problem occurs again a modification part will be required.
