FLAVEL Finesse 100 Dual Fuel Cooker Range?

The left hand side (fan oven/grill) has stopped working on our cooker range for no reason. The right hand side and 8 gas rings still work. I have checked fuses and looked through the troubleshooting tips but to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem?

Where is the little ceramic thermostat situated between the 2 ovens. Can anyone help

Scott, December 2014
We had the same on ours it was the little ceramic thermostat at the back of the cooker, in the middle of the two ovens.
We removed the back silver panel and there it is. No guarantee
this is the same as yours though.

Right hand oven, clock, and ignition switch all stopped working. Left hand oven and grill working fine. At the time this happened I was using both ovens. Then the right oven etc just stopped. Any ideas please. Is it something I could fix like a fuse or will I have to get a technician out. Cheers paul

hi the fuse number for mine was 184 and it cost £0.99 from maplins they are located on the left hand side ,take the rear pannel off and its a torpedo shaped inline fuse ,hope this helps, aus

had the same prob replaced the thermo fuse BUT the oven still does not work ,the fan works but no heat
please help as i think its either the thermo cut off switch or the rings in the oven

aus, September 2011
I Have had the same fault on both ovens the thermal fuse on the left oven is found in the grey wire and the right oven is a brown wire. The red sleeving has to be slid back up the cable to expose the inline torpedo shape thermal fuse microtemp G5 144. RS do a replacement 176-9283 or maplin do one. Remember to turn electrics off before removing the lower back panel of the oven about 10 screws, the wire is in the bundle of wires on the right hand side of oven. Cut the old one out you will need a new crimp and pliers to fit a new thermal fuse the same way as the old one comes out carefuly slide the silcon sleeve back down over the joint to protect the exposed wire before swtching electrics back on. I have photos of the fuse if anyone needs them.

Roger, August 2011
help what does this fuse look like only thing we can find is a small white round one but when we went to maplins they say that cannot be it as it is a self reseting one and nothing wrong with it

tina, July 2010
how 2 find with in the red heat shrinked lead to from the grey wire clamped at the rear, take off which panel is faulty remove heat shrink use a electrical screw driver at start of thermal fuse then middle then other end cost 79p from maplin dont touch cable when power is on

can anyone tell me the part number of the fuse please.

Carl, October 2009
Hi
I have the same problem managed to locate the fuse, thank you.
But ive put it all back together so i can still cook in other oven and forgot to note the fuse rating would you anyone know this off hand to save taking it all apart again
Thanks

I must be an idiot I just can't find the fuses? Do you have to take the back panel off?

Ruby, October 2009
I had an electrician look at mine for the same fault it appears that a cable from the the main inlet to the left oven /grill has an inline fuse /capasitor/diaode which is faulty and therefore no power is going to the left grill and oven

I have ther same problem but can not find the thermo fuse where is it??

john, May 2009
Hi Im having the same problem again it happened for no reason, did you get any response

tracy, May 2009
Just had the same problem, and it was the thermo fuse. It's located at the rear of the oven clipped to the side by a small bracket. It's a grey wire with a red sleeve over the thermo fuse. (69p from Maplins) Hope this helps.

Dave., October 2008
Check the thermal fuse it is located on a bracket at the rear of the fan oven.

Hi Jude,

I am currently looking into the same problem for a mate of mine! She cant locate the fuses inside the actual appliance. Do you know where they are then?

Thanks
Karen
