the manuals say to check these parts and replace them if necessary, but they do not give instructions how to do this
how is this done?
i have a 6.5 in skil saw model 534
It is an older model can I still get parts for it?

My local Long Island NY Skil repair shop says he has some parts for Model 534 Skilsaw. I can put you in touch with him, or check for you.

I also have a Model 534 Skilsaw, on which I can't remove the bolt securing the blade. My local shop said the bolt has Left-hand threads, but another Skil shop said it has Right-hand threads. Does you manual mention this bolt, and possibly in Parts description state Lelft/Right threads?
