How can I fix my Electrolux Fridge model ER6430U - it keeps on freezing?

Intermittantly, the fridge freezes causing food spoilage. The temperature setting is on 1 and I suspect the thermostat. Am I getting warm? :o)

I think you are right! for what a thermostat costs it would definately be worth trying a replacement, there is not really much else that would cause overcooling....
