hygen grill shut down?

My Hygena GG60m grill shuts down after about 10mins. because it overheats. The front of the cooker becomes very hot.
The flame cones appear to be large and loosely flowing, rather than small separate fast burning cones.
Is it a gas flow or fan problem??
Any ideas?

Hi Les, As the machine will be a few years old now I expect, I would think it is a fan problem. The grills tend to burble when alight. If the grill element has circles in it that glow, it can be that the gauze has split. This makes the grill pop and then go out. Hope this gets you on the right track. All the best.
