air filter 2004 renault megane scenic 1.5dci?

how do i fit air filter to 2004 renault megane scenic 1.5dci
george newell, August 2008
The air cleaner is tucked away behind the battery forward of the windscreen at the passenger side. Pull off(upwards) the weather sealing strip and it's associated end pieces sealing the engine compartment from the fresh air intake. Remove the plastic panel (secured by three 10mm plastic nuts at the front) immediately above and behind the battery. Remove the two 10mm nuts securing the metal panel exposed by removal of the plastic panel. The top of the air cleaner housing is now visible. The air cleaner is secured in the housing by 2 horizontal screws. The air filter is removed upwards but is partially obstructed by the plastic panel above it which must be pushed to give clearance, the perforations cut with a knife or completely removed along with the windscreen wipers to allow complete removal of the filter and it's carrier.
