dishwaser keeps blowing main fuse box put new fuses in plug stil does the same also where the lead goes into the back of dishwasher there is a black like powder like something has blown at the back

Sounds like you are describing the terminal block. If that is correct, it is worth repairing, they are quite cheap. All the best.
