My beko fridge freezer has started making sounds like running water/gurgling water, any reason why that would be?

Mine did this when the insulation on the small pipes at the back had broken down. I think this affected the thermostat sensor. The freezer started icing up soon afterwards. We ended up replacing the appliance.
