1993 Ford Escort?

What could be draining the battery when the engine is running?
I put a new battery in and the alternater is showing no charge
of 14 volts coming back to the battery when running. Battery
just drains when engine is running.

hi roy,check to see if the blue wire is connected into the back of the altinator if not reconnet it and this should stop it from draining the battery
