I have 2yr old LG frost free fridge-freezer GR359SQ. Food in 2nd drawer (first large drawer) has defrosted. Rest of freezer including shallow tray above is fine. If it's the defrost fan at fault, can I defrost it and if so how please? Is it the obvious thing of just switch off and wait?

Hello I used to have a candy which used to frost up. Yes unplug but will take a long time . Fridge engineer came to my house and used a hairdryer to speed up defrost. Be a bit careful and dont hold it on one area too long or you may melt the plastic on freezer. Obviously empty your freezer first.Hope this helps
