I have purchased a M3 MPR10009 mower, it has an electric start briggs engine, what i want to know is does it take a 2 stroke mixture or is it a 4 stroke?
Any help would be much appreciated.
The smae battery is used on a multitude of rotary mowers- Atco Qualcast etc. It's a 12v gel filled battery with a life of around 3 to 5 years depending on conditions and usage. A genuine one will cost around £40-£45, but pattern ones are available on ebay for example for around £20-£25. In the trade it's referred to as an egg box type battery.

Thanks for that, i will keep an eye out for a spare clutch.
One other thing i cant seem to find out is what type of battery i need for the electric start, i.e battery code, so i can purchase one that fits.
Thanks

four stroke. Neat unleaded in the tank and SAE30 engine oil in the engine sump.
ps- put £150 to one side when the brake blade clutch gives out. Regular problem.
