i need to know the torque for the cylinder head of a landrover freelander p?

I need to know the torque for the cylinder head of a landrover freelander petrol engine 1998 model

In suggest that you buy a Haynes manual for the car as I am sure that you need to know a bit more than just the torque on the K series.

BTW when you had the head off did you check for slipped liners. When the head gasket goes on those engines it often takes the liners, and thus the engine, with it.

Hi David, first thing you have to do is measure the bolts as follows, with head removed screw bolts in finger tight measure between block face and underside of bolt head maximum lenght 97mm, Alternatively remove oil rail and screw bolts in finger tight, if the full lenght of the thread engages, the bolt can be reused,if not measure between the top face of the oil rail and the underside of the bolt head max lenght 378mm.
Torque to 20Nm,
then +180 deg
then +180 deg
Sequence,
9, 5, 1, 3, 7, Flywheel
10,6, 2, 4, 8, End
Front
