hi again, i have tried all you have mentioned but nothing, i have replaced the starter swtich and still nothing when i bridged the old solenoid the starter used to turn but now nothing, just run out of ideas left thinking the only thing it could be it a broken wire somewhere?

Sometimes, the obvious escapes us...... Check the fuse!

There is a 20 amp fuse in the battery supply lead. May not be easy to find, but it's there.

all i can suggest is you double check all the wiring connections to the starter etc.then with the IGNITION OFF,manually turn over the engine.(your starter may be jammed)if all this hasnt helped(or youve already tried it) a sharp knock on the starter motor could free it up.i hope this helps.
