PWR550HTA Performance power
The spindle operating the on/off switch is not connecting properly. Does anyone one have a diagram on how to repair it?

Same darned problem - trying to replace the power chord and can't figure out how to separate the main body (and the spring popped out (Doh!) so now I haven't got the option of replacing the cable because I can't separate the case and I can't put it back together without knowing how to reinstall the trigger spring and mechanism :))

Do not know where you can obtain diagram, but from personal experience suspect the only spring which popped out is the one for the rear trigger. This simply fits back onto a small spigot inside the top of the lever and into a slot in the outer case. In order for the switch and brake mechanism to operate be sure the loose plate on the switch operating rod is placed between the two white prongs on the front lever and inside the rear lever. When correctlly fitted this plate should be more or less horizontal with both ends hidden inside the levers. Hope this helps.

I've got Pwr Performance PWR550HTA Hedge Trimmers. I had to replace cable but in the process the Trigger came adrift. Now I'm having problems putting it all back together because of the safety switch and springs etc. Does anyone have or know where I can get a schematic parts drawing from which displays where the parts go so I can fix it please.

pleasant seems confused as pwr models are from the performance power brand and are only sold by b&q.
with his attitude no wonder with have landfill problems.
give Solent Tools a phone and explain your exactly what the problem is and they should be able to help.

Bin it- they are not woth repairing- even Homebase will tell you that, and they are the people that only sell them as it's thier own brand product made in China. They do not import spares- let along provide wiring diagrams.
