beko WMA 1715s - won't respond?

hi. i had just finished another successful wash with my beko washing machine wma 1715s, and was putting in a fresh load of clothes, when i noticed the LEDs for the 'programme selection' knob and the 'start/pause/cancel' button weren't lit, even though the 'door open' button was lit.

the machine is now unresponsive. i've tried turning it on and off at the mains etc. and i've tried some of the tips i've read here about holding the start/pause button and on/off button for 3 seconds etc, but nothing has worked.

does anyone have any ideas??

thanks,

aidy

i paid the £54 + delivery for the part & the flashing lights are different now.
the machine still does not run.

this is the exact same problem i have, did a wash fine and then no response.
have tried all the button pushin (no luck).

The main PCB has a blue round thing on it (a capacitor?) any way its blue and its round, it is also blackened at the edge.

do i need a full PCB or could it be posible the this round blue thing could be purchase from somewhere like maplins and i could solder it on?

anyone know if this is the fault on the PCB?

having stripped down my beko 1715s i have found the cause of the fault of the pre-wash led flashing and machine being unresponsive is the pcb board, my boards part number is 2810040100, updated part number is now 2810040110 cost around £54 from www.easyspares.co.uk/ hope this helps :)
