I have had a meta tv2 357 alam fitted, now my gsxr 750 wont run for long. it sometime starts then run for a short time then cuts out. My f1 light flashes on the LCD display panel. the manual for my bike says that a flashing f1 light means a sensors. is there anyway you can help me know what is go on. The bike is a GSXR 750 SUZUKI R Reg 98

Thanks Busa boy

Yes it's has a immobiliser, and yes many bikers tell me that it's best if i have the thing off. After reading what you said, i phoned someone up who no's what he is doing and he's coming on thursday to have a look. It's also a fuel injection r reg late one so maybe the frist one to have it. I did think the same as you with throttle position sensor, But still thinks it's the alam thats causing the problem. will have to drop a line here when i find out on thursday.

Many thanks Busa Boy

Hi
The (F1) light on a suzuki applies to fuel injection and it's actually FI, i thought a 1998 GSXR750 was not fuel injected i thought that injection came in 1999. On newer GSXR's their are two faults which triggers this state 1 is a fault with the throttle position sensor and the bike should still run the 2'nd is a serious failure in the fuel injection system and the bike should not be run.You need to find somebody with the diagnostic equipment to find the diagnostic code for your fault.
The other fault! does the meta alarm have an immobiliser? maybe cutting in and stopping the bike running.
