Saxo key stolen?

My wife had her handbag stolen along with the only key for her S reg'd Saxo 1.1.
Have seen a lockset on E bay complete with ECU for a 2002.
Is this likely to be ok?

Why risk it? I'd take proof of ownership (V5) and ID (Driving License) to the local Citroen dealer and get a new key. (Actually I'd get two.)
