Repair or Replace Heater blower Renault Espace 95/M?

Are there any advances on my original question?

Thanks James, but as you can see from my reply to your helpful post, there is apparently no life at all in my blower? how does this impact on your Maplins fuse suggestion?

I want to run a live feed to the heater myself, just to double check if the motor works.

I understand that I can use jumper wire's connecting one wire to ground and the other, to a battery voltage source.

What I can't see or quite understand, is where in/on the heater, do I connect the wires, can anyone help? or, does anybody know if an image exists on the net showing the location of the contacts on the heater side that I connect the wire's to?
I hope that makes some sense?
In anticipation, thanks for your help

no life in blower normally means thermal resistor shot completely.they seem to break down gradually-you slowly lose one blower speed at a time.as i described before you will need to access blower via engine bay.re.move soundproofing around blower box-its sortof a black padded material-think about 5 bolts.undo electrical connections on right hand side of box.undo cable clamp that is on right handside.you now have a black plastic box in front of you.4 bolts hold this box to the engine bulkhead.they re i think 10 or 12mm and you will need a long extenstion bar and universal joint to access-its tight there and i have small hands..one bolt at the front.you can now carefully remove box by jiggling the box to he right acros the engine-you may need to disconnect some rubber vent pipes to do this.you will need patience.when the box is out, undo seven bolts and it splits in half and here you,its the blower motor with thermal resistor alongside.Good luck
