hi ben, check if you have a spark , remove spark plug ,
connect back on the HT. lead, hold side of spark plug on to engine, (engine bolt or bare metal, for good earth connection) use insulated pliers or rubber glove to hold, (do not want to give yourself a tickle, electric shock) see if spark is there at the gap , end of spark plug that goes into the engine, as you turn over the engine (should be a nice blue spark..) if thats there , you most likely have a fuel problem..
we old motorbike chaps, used to hold end of lead , may stick a nail in the end.. try and see if spark jumped to engine, holding the metal close to the engine block, more times than not if you heard the words ,.. F-----g B-----d .. wallop right up our arm..
but we would be happy as fuel probs, are easy to solve.. electric problems a little longer.. regards mike
