Repairing tufted chairs?

How do you repair a tufted chair that isn't tufted anymore? (Area under button isn't attached to the back anymore.)
Tammy, September 2008
hey tammy this is a really tricky repair that i would suggest be done by a trained technician or upholsterer,to have this repair done properly an inadequately the tufts and buttons will had to be retied from the inside of the chair which means that the fabric on the outside back or sometimes the dustcover on the bottom would have to be removed ,if you would like to get this repair done i own and operate a national furniture repair company and we have professionally trained technicians in quite a few states please feel free to give me a call if you are having any problems with this repair.6789787321
