dyson dc07 cuts out after 5 mins of use?

The thermal cut out stops my Dyson working after 5 minutes or so, does this mean the motor brushes need replacing?

Check the hose, ubend, clean-out, and lower hose for obstructions. If nothing, the only way to fix this is to replace the motor.
