Im not a repair person but I do most of my own repairs and have just replaced the belt on my creda tumble dryer. If its a similar model to mine you need to unclip the big white fan housing and pull it out. (the fan inside the machine, not the one outside) then grip the metal clip holding the fan in place so the metal clip and the fan come off, then you slip the belt over the front of the drum - there is a metal bracket running front to back at the top of the machine on either side which the side panels screw onto; unscrew these brackets at the back and the drum will fall away from the front panel allowing you to slip the belt over. Where you have removed the fan line up the belt so the 'lines' on one side of the belt go onto the matching bit on the netal bar - heres the tricky bit - if the belt had snapped you wont see how the pulleys went, being a girl I put them back wrong the first time, and its hard with the spring to hold them together and put it all back together - also, check the pulleys, are they ok? why did the belt go? then put it all back together. Hope this might be a bit of a help, as I say Im not a real welder!! i was looking here for something else and no one had answered this so I did. Good luck.
