I have a Lane Timeless swivel rocker recliner that leans too far back?

Is there anyway to adjust the tension of the rocker? I love everything but the balance. Is there any adjustments or any additional hardware that would offset the balance to keep it more upright until you choose to recline?

I used carpenters shims on the rocking base of mine. With the recliner rolled onto its front, you can see a quarter moon shaped piece of wood that the recliner rocks on the flat base. from the back. I hammered in a shim on each side and what a WONDERFUL difference. Hope this helps.

I don't know the answer but I have the same problem with my two new Lane recliners which were bought in August 2008. Does anyone know the answer?
