how can I turn off the siren alarm for my bmw 1996 318i. I want to turn off the arlam completely. the fob has never been working since i bought the car 2years ago. so since then i have been using the normal keys which had central locking working properly. Now the hazards starts coming off as soon as I want to start the car and its finishing my car battery quick because the alarm is always on. please help

You don't say what make the alarm is but most of them have a small keyhole for a key to turn the alarm off which should have been supplied with the car.

Assuming that you don't have that key. 1) Try a new battery in the fob. 2) Have the alarm stripped out by a specialist. (If you don't know what you are doing you can completely immobilise the car.)
